Bunkers, bells and bottle blowers
Nice to get back to Dunedin from warm sunny Auckland and find that it is just as lovely here - bless you Dunners.
Sunday afternoon was spent at the Windsor Castle in Parnell, a great venue and awesome to catch up with "The Vicar" and other friends and whanau. Cheers Daniel and Co. for having us along.
We spent most of Monday spralled out on Aunty Gaye & Uncle Eion's sunny deck looking over the beautiful Te Atatu peninsula. A rare treat to just chill out and not drive for miles or have to pick up or pack up a P.A. - plus food to die for! Aroha and thanks to you both!
That afternoon we continued doing as little as possible from the second story of the Pacific Villa in Devonport. Check out the website people, this house is a stunner and our host Robyn was amazing - wine in the fridge, hibiscus in flower, great chippy up the road with fresh snapper. We felt like a million bucks heading up the hill to the iconic Devonport Bunker.
And what a great night it was thanks to all of you who came along. It's a stunning venue - the views are incredible over Auckland City, and Roger, Hillary, Harry, Raewyn and everyone involved with the club made us so welcome - we had a fantastic time and look forward to going back one day, absolutely magic.
Righto, time for a lie down...
